The other day my little boy was telling me while he was eating that he loved crunchies! I have been using words to describe different food textures and his sweet little self picked up on the crunchy description. While I was making these lovely kale chips which I have tried to get him to taste on previous occasions to no avail ..it dawned on me that this might be a good opportunity to call the kale chips crunchies and see if my little guy would have a taste? They are after all ..crunchy!
Yep, he totally shocked me!!! ..he went in for a taste -twice- for some crunchies ..and as I had hoped he went for the sesame seeds trying to pick them off and then just popped the whole chip in his mouth ..What! One of the bites he spit out but the other he totally ate ..Woo! Hello Kale Chips!
